The inspiration for all Tangoes games comes from the ancient Chinese Tangram puzzle from hundreds of years ago. Legend has it, a tile-maker named Tan one day dropped a square tile, which broke into 7 pieces. As he tried to reassemble the pieces back into a perfect square, he saw that he could also produce shapes of different people, animals and various objects. The 7 seven pieces or ‘tans' now make up a classic brain-teaser puzzle for all ages!
