Tangoes draws on the ancient Tangram puzzle's artistic and mathematical elements to develop visual perception, problem solving skills, and creative thinking. Designed for kids ages 4 and up, the object of this single-player game is to try and reproduce pictures of people, animals or objects using 7 geometrical shapes. The double-sided cards show the same challenge on each side, one being easy and the other more advanced. A blank card is also included so that kids can use their imagination to create their own Tangrams! The game pieces are large and easy to manipulate, the 12 challenge cards and 7 pieces are stored inside the game board which also features an easy-to-carry handle.

The inspiration for all Tangoes games comes from the ancient Chinese Tangram puzzle from hundreds of years ago. Legend has it, a tile-maker named Tan one day dropped a square tile, which broke into 7 pieces. As he tried to reassemble the pieces back into a perfect square, he saw that he could also produce shapes of different people, animals and various objects. The 7 seven pieces or ‘tans' now make up a classic brain-teaser puzzle for all ages!
